SWIM MEET: The first A meet of the season is TOMORROW 6/13 against Norbeck Grove. It is also the Homecoming meet for Alumni Sharks! Please see the attached Meet entries to see if your swimmer(s) will be swimming. If you have any questions regarding the meet entries, please speak to Coach Sophie, Coach David, Joanna Band, and Laura Szabo (A Reps).

Swimmers, details for the meet are below. Non-Swimmers, we hope you join us at the Shark Tank to cheer for your fellow Sharks!

Theme: Go Sharks! Wear blue and white or your favorite Fallsmead Sharks gear! (Dressing like a Shark is ok too!)

Swimmer check-in: 7:45am - Check in with Coach Sophie or Coach David

Volunteer check-in: 8:15am - Check in with Joanna or Laura

Timeline of events:

Fallsmead Warm-up - 8am to 8:20am

Norbeck Grove Warm-up - 8:20am to 8:40am

Officials’ meeting - 8:20am

Timer’s meeting - 8:30am

Scratch meeting - 8:40am

National Anthem - 8:55am

Meet will begin promptly at 9am

WHAT TO BRING: Swimmers should bring a water bottle, swim cap, googles, towels, snacks. Reminder: Swimmers may not wear swim caps or suits containing logos of other swim clubs/teams* See Joanna or Laura if you need to buy a Sharks cap.

IMPORTANT: Swimmers MUST see Coach Sophie and/or Coach David if they plan to leave the meet early. Relay teams may change during the meet and you may be needed for relays! The last event is a very fun and exciting freestyle relay involving 14u swimmers. Even if you aren’t swimming in a relay, please stay to cheer for your teammates!

TEAM LUNCH: Join the team for lunch after the meet at Giuseppe's in Rockville Town Center - 199 E Montgomery Ave.We’ll make an announcement at the end of the meet tomorrow to confirm.
