Sharks update: Week of June 8

Sharks Parents,

A big thank-you to everyone for helping us kick off the swim season on such a positive note! Last week was our first full week of practice, and it was a great start for all of our swimmers. We also completed our time trials and are off to a strong start. It’s been wonderful to see both swimmers and parents already bringing so much enthusiasm, dedication, and team spirit. We’re excited for a fun, successful, and memorable season ahead!

Here are some important reminders for the coming week:

  • PRACTICES: No practice this Wednesday

PRE-TEAM PRACTICE TIMES: No sign ups needed, just show up! Preteam afternoon practice times and groups are the same for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

Tiger sharks: 5:30 - 6 pm

Hammerheads: 5:30 - 6 pm or 6 - 6:30 pm

Great whites: 6 - 6:30 pm

MAIN TEAM PRACTICE TIMES:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:

11 & Over at 5:00 pm

10 & Under at 6:15 pm

Fridays:

11 & Over at 5:30 pm

10 & Under at 6 pm

  • PANCAKE PEP RALLY: Friday, June 12 at 6:30 pm. A fan favorite! $5 per person.

We need volunteers to help make this event a success. Please sign up here.

  • HOME A MEET VS. NORBECK GROVE: Saturday, June 13 at the Shark Tank.

Please go to the meet sign up and declare your swimmer(s) availability by 6 pm on Wednesday, June 10.

SAVE THE DATES: Please review the team calendar HERE and add activities such as Team Photo Day, and End of Season Banquet (among other events) to your family calendars!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: We have a lot of fun events planned for the summer but we cannot run them without parent volunteers to help run/manage events. Please see Joanna and Laura if you can help!

MERCHANDISE & TEAM SWIM SUIT: if you’re interested in Sharks Gear, you can order some on our Online store or see the Reps if you’re interested in some of the vintage gear we have in stock at the pool.
